Mediation & Arbitration Rates

Mediation Fee

• Full day - $2,550 (up to 3 separately represented parties).  $800 per day per separately represented party (4 + parties)

• Half day - $1,350 (up to 3 separately represented parties).  $400 per day per separately represented party (4+ parties) 

The flat rate covers up to eight hours of conference time (four hours for half-day rate), scheduling and administration of the mediation session, pre-conference calls with counsel, review of the mediation briefs and limited follow-up calls after the mediation if necessary.  Additional time spent at the conference will be billed at $300 per hour.

Arbitration Fee

$400 per hour (3 hour minimum)

Expenses

Travel expenses, including flights, meals and lodging, are billed separately and split equally among the parties unless otherwise agreed.  Travel time for mediations/arbitrations occurring more than 60 miles from Shelby County, Tennessee will be billed at $200 per hour. 

Cancellations

Mediations cancelled more than ten (10) days before the mediation will be charged an administrative fee of $200.  Cancellations within ten (10) days of the mediation will incur an additional charge of $500, which can be credited toward a rescheduled mediation of the same matter.  Cancellation fees will be charged to the cancelling party unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
