About Marcus A. McDaniel

Marcus became a full-time neutral after practicing as a litigator for 33 years, both as in-house counsel and as a partner at two international law firms. Most recently, Marcus was Vice President and Head of Global Litigation at Rentokil Initial plc (NYSE: RTO), a multinational residential/commercial services group and the largest pest management company in the world.

Marcus has extensive experience litigating and managing a wide variety of complex civil cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts across the United States, including employment, consumer protection, commercial transactions, personal injury, toxic tort, environmental contamination, real estate, intellectual property and insurance coverage disputes.

Marcus is passionate about resolving disputes.  Through many years of professional experience, he has found that ADR tends to lead to far more satisfactory outcomes than protracted litigation.  Marcus is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 Civil Mediator and has conducted hundreds of mediations, both as an advocate and neutral, involving a wide variety of commercial disputes.  Prior to relocating to Tennessee, Marcus maintained a successful dispute resolution practice in California.
